Early Years

Creche, Nursery, KG 1 and KG 2
Learning through play, routine and warmth. Children leave KG 2 reading simple words, counting with confidence and ready for a classroom day.
The first years set the pattern for everything after. Our youngest children learn through play, song, stories and routine, in small groups with a familiar teacher and assistant they come to trust.
By the end of KG 2, children know their sounds, read simple words, count and compare with confidence, and can sit, listen and take part in a classroom day.
How we teach it
Play with a purpose
Every game, song and story is planned to build language, number sense and the confidence to try.
Sounds first, then words
Daily phonics takes children from letter sounds to blending and reading their first words.
Care you can see
Feeding, rest and wellbeing are part of the day, and shared with parents every afternoon.
