Lower Primary

Class 1 to Class 3

Firm foundations in reading, writing and number, taught to the NaCCA standards at an international pace.

Lower Primary is where reading, writing and number become firm. Pupils read every day, write in full sentences, and practise mental maths until it becomes second nature.

Teachers plan to clear NaCCA standards and check progress through the term, so a gap is spotted and closed early, not discovered at the exam.

How we teach it

1

Readers by Class 3

Guided reading in small groups every day, with books matched to each child’s level.

2

Number sense, daily

Short, frequent practice builds quick, accurate mental maths and real problem solving.

3

Progress you can follow

Class assessment through the term and a clear report card at the end of it.
